Review Kiosk (by EaseMaddy) helps local businesses collect more Google reviews with a QR code. This page explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Email support@easemaddy.com.
Who this covers
- Business owners who sign up to get a QR code and dashboard.
- Customers of those businesses who scan the QR code and leave feedback.
What we collect
From business owners: your name, business name, email address and Google review link, plus the dashboard link we create for you.
From customers who scan a QR code: whether they chose the happy or unhappy option, and any text or spoken feedback they enter. If they write a review, the words they provide are used to create a draft. If they choose to send private feedback, that message goes to the business. We do not ask customers for an account or password.
Automatically: basic technical data such as browser type and time of visit, which our hosting providers may record for security and reliability.
How we use it
- To create your QR code and dashboard, and to email you your dashboard link.
- To turn a customer's feedback into a draft review and to pass private feedback to the business.
- To keep the service secure, fix problems and improve it.
- To reply when you contact us.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run Review Kiosk, including website hosting, email delivery (Resend), data storage, and AI text processing that turns feedback into a draft review. These providers process data only to provide their services to us. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Reviews that a customer chooses to post are published on Google and are then governed by Google's own terms and privacy policy.
Your dashboard link
Your dashboard link works as a private key. Anyone who has it can see your dashboard, so please keep it private. If you think it has been shared, contact us and we will help.
How long we keep it
We keep business account information while your account is active. Feedback is kept so it can appear in your dashboard. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it by emailing support@easemaddy.com. Customers who want feedback they submitted removed can contact the business or email us.
Security
We use reputable hosting and email providers and secure (HTTPS) connections. No online service is completely risk-free, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Review Kiosk is meant for businesses and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
